Help Us Find Our Next South Australian Community Project
At Snyders Painting, we believe some places are more than just buildings, landmarks or local spaces, they are part of the stories that make South Australia feel like home.
In 2024, we were proud to support one of our most memorable community projects: repainting the Big Rocking Horse. It was a project that meant a lot to the local community, and seeing the response from South Australians reminded us why these kinds of projects matter.
Now, we’re looking for the next place, landmark, club, community space or local icon that could use some support.
Do You Know a Place That Deserves a Fresh Start?
We’re inviting the community to nominate a South Australian project that could benefit from painting, restoration or improvement works.
It might be:
A local sporting club
A community hall
A heritage building
A school or not-for-profit space
A local landmark
A place that holds special meaning to the community
If it has a story, brings people together, or deserves to be preserved for future generations, we want to hear about it.
Why We’re Doing This
As a South Australian family business, we’ve been fortunate to work on some incredible projects across the state. But some of the most rewarding work happens when we can give back to the communities that support local businesses like ours.
The Big Rocking Horse project showed us how much pride people have in South Australian icons, and how a fresh coat of paint can help protect, restore and celebrate something important.
Now we want the community to help us choose what comes next.
How to Nominate a Project
To nominate a project, simply tell us:
The name and location of the project
Why it matters to the community
What kind of support or painting work may be needed
Any photos or background information that may help us understand the project
Nominations can be sent through our website or by contacting Snyders Painting directly.
Help Us Spread the Word
Even if you don’t have a project in mind, you can still help by sharing this with someone who might.
There may be a local club, community group, heritage building or much-loved South Australian icon that just needs the right people to hear about it.
Together, we can help preserve the places that matter.
Nominate a project today and help us find the next South Australian community space deserving of support.
