Pennington Terrace

Heritage Restoration & Lead-Safe Painting

We completed extensive preparation and painting works at Pennington Terrace, restoring a significant heritage property inside and out. Works included detailed painting to eaves, fascia, gables, finials, doors, windows, veranda roofing, cast iron columns and decorative elements, fencing, rendered fence piers, internal walls, and external rosettes, delivered in accordance with project specifications and approved finishes.

The project also included high-risk lead-based paint remediation, carried out in strict compliance with South Australian WHS legislation and Australian Standards, including controlled removal, exclusion zones, trained personnel, and compliant waste disposal. Select wall areas were finished using mineral silicate coatings to provide breathable, long-term protection suited to heritage substrates.
